Regain Confidence: Urinary Incontinence Care for Women
Personalized pelvic floor therapy to help you stay dry, active, and in control.
What is Urinary Incontinence?
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine — a common condition, but not a normal part of aging or childbirth. It can happen when the muscles supporting the bladder become weak or overactive.
At BeLeaf Physiotherapy, we treat urinary incontinence with proven physiotherapy techniques so you can get back to living confidently — without fear or embarrassment.
Common Types of Incontinence
Stress Incontinence
Leakage during physical activity — sneezing, coughing, laughing, or lifting.
Urge Incontinence (Overactive Bladder)
Sudden, strong urge to urinate followed by leakage.
Mixed Incontinence
A combination of stress and urge types.
Overflow Incontinence
Bladder doesn’t empty completely, causing frequent dribbling.
Functional Incontinence
Physical or cognitive issues prevent timely access to a bathroom.
Especially Common In:
- Postnatal Mothers – due to stretched pelvic floor muscles
- Older Adults – due to aging muscles and menopause
- People with Prostate Conditions / Neurological Issues
