Client’s Summary
McCormick Global Ingredients Sdn Bhd is a leading producer and distributor in the food ingredients sector, serving clients across the region. The Terengganu workshop plays a critical role in supporting production and equipment maintenance, operating under strict hygiene and safety requirements. Over time, the workshop’s concrete flooring had deteriorated, with cracks, dusting, and chemical staining disrupting workflow and posing contamination risks.To resolve these issues and create a safer, cleaner, and more durable work environment, Polymer Malaysia was engaged to design and install a high-performance industrial flooring system tailored to the facility’s needs.

POLYGARD® MTX 5091 | 5mm Epoxy Mortar with Polyester Polyurethane finish- Non-slip
For high-traffic and chemical-exposed zones, a heavy-duty epoxy flooring system was selected for its exceptional durability, seamless finish, and strong resistance to oils, solvents, and cleaning agents. Anti-slip aggregates were incorporated in critical areas to enhance safety, while colour-coded demarcation lines were applied to clearly define pedestrian walkways, equipment zones, and storage areas. The project was completed in less than 12 days, resulting in a clean, durable, and visually organised workshop floor that meets both the operational and safety requirements of McCormick Global Ingredients Sdn Bhd.
