After revealing the all-new Countryman and John Cooper Works (JCW) Countryman a few months ago, MINI has now provided additional information on the MINI Countryman C, the crossover's entry-level model.
There are four trim levels for the MINI Countryman C: Essential, Classic, Favored, and JCW. The Countryman C is available with a variety of interior finishes, C-pillar features, paint and roof colors, and trim options. Light alloy wheels in a range of 17 to 21 inches are available for the MINI Countryman C.

The 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder engine, which produces 170 horsepower (metric) and 280 Nm, powers the mild hybrid (MHEV) powertrain of the MINI Countryman C.
Power is transmitted exclusively to the front wheels when paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT), allowing the crossover to reach a high speed of 212 km/h and finish the century sprint in 8.3 seconds. With its 14 kW (19 hp) of electric driving power, the MHEV system's electric motor is supposed to be able to help the Countryman C accelerate.

The MINI Countryman C's interior features include a two-tone textile console and door panels, a panoramic glass roof, and a heated sports steering wheel. Additionally, typical sports seats include multitone patterned fabrics and an extra three centimeters of breadth at the shoulder and elbow areas for more comfortable seating.
The back seats of the Countryman C can be independently changed in six positions, with a maximum angle adjustment of 12 degrees, or pushed up to 13 cm to provide extra legroom. The rear seats may be folded down in a 40:20:40 ratio to create more trunk capacity when needed. The Countryman C features the brand's new circular touchscreen OLED display in the center, just like other models of the all-new MINI Countryman.
