Following its global debut in June, JLR Malaysia has announced that the Range Rover Evoque facelift will soon be introduced here on our shores – more specifically, in January next year.
While it’s called a facelift officially, the new 2024 Range Rover Evoque really does not look all that different to the existing Evoque that’s currently on sale here in Malaysia. Well, not on the surface, anyway.

The new 2024 Range Rover Evoque has a new grille up front with a new insert as part of the "facelift" upgrade package. This update puts the car more in line stylistically with the other Range Rover models, notably the recently released Range Rover Sport. The new Pixel LED headlights, which have a slightly altered daytime running light signature, are located on either side of the grille.
The second obvious modification is to the rear, where the taillights now have an updated lighting signature and what the manufacturer refers it as "super-red" illumination, which uses integrated matrix technology to help other drivers see it more clearly.

The interior of the 2024 Range Rover Evoque has undergone the most significant alterations. Change, that is, in the shape of a new 11.4-inch curved touchscreen display that "floats" in the center of the dashboard in place of the previous infotainment system with two screens.
Sadly, this means that touch controls have replaced the actual climate control knobs. On the plus side, a new wireless charging pad for smartphones has been added, and it is situated beneath the touchscreen.

Although JLR Malaysia has not yet disclosed any information regarding the powertrain, the business has stated that the brand's Ingenium petrol engines would continue to power the new 2024 Range Rover Evoque. Currently available in Malaysia as the P200 and P250 versions, the Evoque is an outgoing model with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine producing 200 horsepower/320 Nm or 249 horsepower/365 Nm. An all-wheel drive system and a nine-speed automatic gearbox are fitted to both models.
