The Perodua Nexis, codenamed D66B, is anticipated to make its debut early next year with a starting price of RM73,000, according to reports in local media. It is built on the DNGA chassis and has a 1.5L Dual VVT-i engine with 106 horsepower, showcasing its fuel efficiency. The SUV also features advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) for increased safety.

The vehicle's official name will probably be Nexis, even if it is currently referred to as the Perodua D66B, as Perodua has already registered this trademark with MyIPO. The Nexis, a B-Segment SUV that sits above the Perodua Ativa, has dimensions of roughly 4,320 X 1,770 X 1,685 mm and weighs under 1300 KG. The Honda HR-V and the Proton X50 are two of its rivals in the Malaysian market.





The Perodua Nexis is more modern than the DNGA GA-A platform used in the Perodua Ativa because it is constructed on Daihatsu's DNGA GA-B platform, which is shared by the 2022 Perodua Alza and the 2023 Toyota Vios. It is driven by a 1.5L Dual VVT-i engine with a D-CVT transmission from the Myvi and Alza models, generating 106 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque. Although it offers a decent amount of power, it prioritizes longevity and fuel efficiency.

According to speculative photos released by local media, the Nexis has a new design language with dual-tone paint, LED headlights, sharp front and rear bumpers, and fashionable dual-tone sporty alloy wheels. LED taillights with a blacked-out finish are included on the vehicle's back. If the Nexis really does have this appearance, it deviates from Perodua's customary style and displays a chic and contemporary aesthetic.




In terms of design, based on speculative images provided by local media, the Nexis features a new design language with dual-tone paint, LED headlights, sporty front and rear bumpers, and stylish dual-tone sporty alloy wheels. The rear of the car incorporates blacked-out LED taillights. If the Nexis indeed looks like this, it represents a departure from Perodua's traditional design, showcasing a stylish and modern appearance.
