Launched in Malaysia, the sixth generation Honda CR-V comes in four different variations, three of which are powered by 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol engines. The S, E, and V AWD models of the turbo trio are priced from RM159,900 on the road without insurance. The price of the single hybrid variation, the 2.0L e:HEV RS, won't be revealed until the following year.
Honda Malaysia started accepting orders for the SUV in November of this year, prior to the CR-V's release. The company said today that it had collected over 2,000 bookings in just one month since then. It further stated that the current wait time for the locally-assembled (CKD) variant is two to three months.

With the V AWD accounting for 40% of all reservations made thus far, the business has stated that it anticipates delivering 1,000 cars every month. The base S costs RM159,900, while the mid-range E costs RM169,900. In comparison, the V AWD retails for RM181,900, making it RM12,000 more expensive.

With 28% of all reservations, the e:HEV RS—which has not yet received an official price—is currently the second most popular CR-V version, closely trailed by the E (27%). Just 5% of reservations were for the entry-level S, which is now on sale for a special introductory price of RM157,900 for the first 750 cars to commemorate 20 years of CKD SUV production in Malaysia.
