  1. INTRODUCTION

    Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for food, as outlined in the Malaysian Standard MS 1514:2022, is essential for ensuring the quality, safety, and hygiene of food products.  This standard provides detailed guidelines on facility design, hygiene practices, personnel training, equipment maintenance, and quality control procedures.  By adhering to these guidelines, food manufacturers can minimize contamination risks, prevent foodborne illnesses, and maintain consistent product quality.
