Future-Proof Connectivity: CAT 7 RJ45 Shielded Modular Plug þ
Unlock the full potential of your high-speed network with the Network Pro Series. These specialized CAT 7 Modular Plugs are engineered to handle 10Gbps speeds and frequencies up to 600MHz. Featuring a robust shielded design, they are the definitive solution for terminating CAT 7 and CAT 6A S/FTP cables in professional server environments and high-performance home networks.
Why the CAT 7 Modular Plug is a Networking Essential:
-
10Gbps Performance: Designed to meet strict Category 7 standards, ensuring your network maintains maximum throughput without data loss.
-
Superior STP Shielding: Clad in a high-quality metal shell to provide 360-degree protection against EMI, RFI, and alien crosstalk—essential for maintaining signal integrity.
-
Large Diameter Support: Specifically designed with wider wire entry holes to accommodate the thicker 23AWG conductors and shielding found in heavy-duty CAT 7 cables.
Where to Use It:
-
þ Data Centers: The professional choice for high-density patching in 10-Gigabit server racks and switches.
-
Smart Homes: Future-proof your home's backbone by ensuring your wall-to-router connections support ultra-high bandwidth.
-
Gaming Stations: Eliminate lag and interference by building high-quality, shielded patch leads for your gaming PC or console.
-
Office Infrastructure: Ideal for heavy-interference environments like factories or offices with extensive electrical cabling.

Top 3 Customer Questions & Concerns þ
1. þ Do I need a special crimping tool? Yes. Because CAT 7 plugs are shielded and often larger than standard plugs, we recommend using a Heavy-Duty Shielded RJ45 Crimping Tool to ensure the metal tail is properly secured to the cable's shield.
2. Can I use this with a standard CAT 5e cable? While it will fit into an RJ45 port, the wire holes are optimized for thicker CAT 7 wires. Using them with very thin CAT 5e wires may make it difficult to secure the wires in the load bar.
3. Is the load bar necessary? Yes! The load bar is essential for managing the twist of the wire pairs as close to the contacts as possible, which is what allows the plug to reach CAT 7 speed ratings.
