Fingerprint Access Controller with Mifare RFID Reader
The Fingerprint Access Controller with Mifare RFID Reader is a compact, high-speed biometric access control terminal for modern buildings and secure facilities. It supports fingerprints, Mifare/ID cards and passwords, and can store up to 1,000 users with 100,000 event records.
Powered by a multi-core ARM processor with built-in fingerprint identification, it delivers sub-second recognition, a low false recognition rate and flexible communication options for standalone or networked installations.
1000 fingerprints 1000 cards 100,000 records TCP/IP & RS485 Mifare & ID cardWhat does this fingerprint access controller do?
This controller verifies users using fingerprints, RFID cards or passwords and then triggers a door lock relay if the credentials are valid. It can run standalone or be managed centrally over a network, making it suitable for single doors or distributed multi-door systems.
Key features
Designed for professional access control projects, the unit combines security, speed and ease of deployment.
- Multi-factor authentication: Fingerprint, password, ID card and Mifare card support.
- High capacity: Stores 1,000 fingerprints, 1,000 cards, 1,000 passwords and 100,000 records (up to 30,000 fingerprints optional).
- Fast recognition: Verification speed < 1 second with high-speed algorithms.
- Accurate matching: False recognition rate less than 0.0001%.
- Rich interfaces: TCP/IP, RS485, USB and Wiegand 26 controller port (Wi-Fi optional).
- Relay and I/O: 1 unlocking relay, 1 door sensor input, 1 alarm output.
- Color display: 2.8" TFT color screen with English, Traditional & Simplified Chinese (other languages customizable).
- Data backup: Support for U-disk data backup and restoring.
- Narrow housing: Slim design for door frames and tight spaces.
How does the fingerprint access controller work?
The device is installed at the door and wired to the electric lock, sensor and alarm (if required). Users are registered at the device or via software, and their credentials are stored in the internal memory.
Typical workflow
- Enroll users with fingerprint, card and/or password.
- Connect the controller to the network via TCP/IP or RS485 for central management (optional).
- When a user presents a finger, card or PIN, the device verifies credentials in <1 second.
- If valid, the relay unlocks the door and the event is stored in the log memory.
- Logs are downloaded through software, USB disk or cloud platform for attendance and security reports.
