Layered Oxide Cells

Layered Oxide offers higher energy density and stronger voltage performance. Our battery can be fully charged up to 15.8V, making it more suitable for vehicle starting and lead-acid battery replacement.

Polyanionic cells, on the other hand, are usually around 13.3V when fully charged. In our view, this voltage level is not ideal for replacing lead-acid batteries in automotive starting applications.

The main difference is usage:

Layered Oxide: better for high-current starting applications
Polyanionic: more suitable for stable, low-rate applications

Car starting requires instant high current. If the battery cell is not designed for high-rate output, it may not last long in real automotive use.
