What does a Line Array look like in an event? A line array is a system of identical loudspeaker units mounted in a line and fed in phase. In a professional event setting, they usually appear in one of two ways:
 

• Flown (Suspended): The most common look for concerts or large galas. The speakers are curved and hang from a truss structure or "tower" on either side of the stage. This keeps the floor clear and looks very high-end.

 

• Small Event Solutions: For medium-sized setups or indoor venues, we use high-quality telescopic lifters like the Kuzar K40 or the Tech Team TL650. These allow us to "fly" the line array safely and precisely even when space for a large truss is limited.

 

• Large Event Solutions: For major concerts or wide outdoor stages, we utilize heavy-duty Aluminum Truss Systems. This allows us to hang larger line array clusters at higher elevations to ensure even sound distribution over long distances while maintaining maximum safety and structural integrity.

 

• Extreme Load & Outdoor Solutions: For large-scale outdoor festivals or heavy LED wall supports, we utilize Layher Truss (Scaffolding Systems). Known for its incredible weight-bearing capacity and stability, Layher is our go-to for complex stage builds that require maximum safety in all weather conditions.

 

• Ground-Stacked: For venues with low ceilings or no rigging points, the speakers are safely stacked on top of subwoofers. This gives a powerful, "wall of sound" appearance.

 

Why the line array speaker flown in "Curved" shape? You will notice they often look like a "J" or a "Banana." This specific curve is engineered to ensure that the sound reaches people at the very back of the room just as clearly as those at the front.
