CSR – Commitment to Community, Environment, Employees & Business Responsibility
CSR Policy
Lee Ting San Group is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen by contributing to the sustainable development of society. Our CSR focus extends across community welfare, environmental stewardship, employee well-being, and responsible business practices. Each year, we allocate resources to support meaningful community programmes related to education, culture, health, and environmental conservation, working closely with NGOs, local communities, and through volunteer initiatives carried out by our employees.
Community
Policy
As part of our dedication to community development, we actively participate in initiatives that uplift local communities. Environmental Protection
To help reduce road hazards and environmental pollution, we invest in modern vehicles equipped with new technology. All 500 vehicles in our fleet are under 12 years old to minimize emissions, especially black smoke from older engines.
We invest in reputable brands such as Volvo, Scania, MAN, Hino and Fuso, and only Premium Shell Diesel is used in our vehicles, as it is recognized as one of the best diesel grades in the country.
Public Safety
Public safety is a major priority. We invest in public liability insurance coverage for all our buildings, whether for internal use or leased to customers. Our drivers undergo regular safety training, skills refreshers, and are required to maintain good driving behavior at all times.
For transparency and safety, our hotline is printed on all vehicles—allowing the public to report any unsafe or careless driving immediately.
Employees
Policy
As an employer, our CSR commitments focus on the safety, health, and overall well-being of our employees. We strive to provide a safe working environment, fair opportunities, and continuous improvement in quality of life.
Safety
-
Occupational safety is central to our operations, and we strictly comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
-
For long-haul trips, we allocate two drivers per vehicle to ensure around-the-clock operations without compromising health or safety.
-
Regular checks and inspections are conducted at our maintenance workshop to ensure peak vehicle performance and minimize emissions.
-
All vehicles must pass mandatory testing by SPAD (Land Public Transport Commission).
-
Drivers are protected from excessive workloads by a strict policy against overloading schedules.
-
We actively provide training on occupational health, safety practices, and proper driving behavior.
-
Our vehicles display our hotline number for public reporting of unsafe driving.
-
Our HQ enforces strict safety procedures with 24-hour security guards and a 10 km/h speed limit inside the compound.
Healthcare and Wellness
We offer a healthcare plan that exceeds industry standards, including hospitalization insurance and personal accident coverage for all staff. Unlike many companies where drivers only receive SOCSO, we provide additional protection due to their high exposure to risks.
We also encourage work-life balance by discouraging late-night work or excessive overtime—while supporting a healthy workplace culture where colleagues connect after work for social activities.
Working Environment
Our RM8 million headquarters in Juru Auto City reflects our commitment to providing a modern and productive work environment comparable to multinational corporations.
