Crest Builder Holdings Bhd (KL:CRESBLD) has strengthened its construction portfolio after securing a RM299.4 million contract to build a major commercial development in Desa ParkCity, one of Kuala Lumpur’s most sought-after master-planned townships.
In a filing on Monday, the group announced that the project was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary Crest Build Sdn Bhd by Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd, the master developer behind Desa ParkCity’s integrated residential and commercial ecosystem.
46-Storey Office Tower with Retail Podium
Under the 36-month contract, Crest Builder will construct a 46-storey commercial tower comprising:
-
Two levels of retail space
-
36 floors of office units
-
A multi-storey car park facility
The construction period will run from 18 July 2026 to 27 July 2029.
This development adds another significant commercial property asset to Kuala Lumpur’s western growth corridor, complementing ongoing demand for premium commercial property in KL as well as boosting employment opportunities connected to nearby industrial hubs such as industrial land in Selangor, industrial property in the Subang area, and manufacturing clusters that support factory operations in Puchong.
Fourth Contract From ParkCity Group
Group managing director Eric Yong Shang Ming noted that this marks Crest Builder’s fourth contract from ParkCity Group, reinforcing the contractor’s long-standing partnership with the township developer.
“With a solid order book and resilient pipeline, we remain focused on delivering sustainable growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality,” Yong said.
Following the award, Crest Builder’s outstanding order book increases to approximately RM1.7 billion, securing earnings visibility for the next four years.
Expanding Role in Construction & Property Development
Crest Builder continues to strengthen its position in the construction and property development sectors, with capabilities spanning:
-
Civil construction
-
Mechanical and electrical engineering (M&E)
-
Project management
These competencies support the company’s participation in large-scale urban developments, including high-rise commercial towers and mixed-use projects similar to those emerging across office space in Bukit Jalil and other high-demand metropolitan zones.
