CelcomDigi Introduces Fibre-To-The-Room (FTTR) Add-On, Ensuring Full Coverage in Every Room

CelcomDigi has rolled out a new enhancement to its home fibre service called Fibre-To-The-Room (FTTR) — an advanced add-on designed to deliver fast, consistent, and stable connectivity in every corner of your home. Unlike traditional mesh Wi-Fi systems, FTTR uses dedicated optical fibre cables installed throughout the house, ensuring seamless coverage with speeds of up to 1Gbps in each room, without blind spots or signal drops.

Who Is Eligible?

The FTTR add-on is currently available for customers in the Klang Valley who subscribe to CelcomDigi Fibre 300Mbps or higher.

Speed Capability

While FTTR can technically support speeds of up to 1Gbps, your actual speed will follow the fibre plan you are subscribed to.
Interestingly, CelcomDigi also revealed that the FTTR infrastructure is built to support up to 10Gbps, making it future-ready should the company launch higher-speed fibre plans later on.
