Through this renewed agreement, Celcomdigi will be able to utilise Allo’s Level 2 High-Speed Broadband Network Service, allowing the company to further expand its home fibre broadband coverage across selected areas in Melaka, Perak, and Cyberjaya.
Although Celcomdigi did not reveal full details of the rollout, the company confirmed that the expansion will cover approximately 45,000 homepasses, giving more households access to affordable, high-speed fibre connectivity.
While Celcomdigi is commonly recognised as a mobile service provider, the telco has been steadily strengthening its position in the home fibre market. Celcomdigi aims to connect over 3.5 million households nationwide through its fibre broadband service.
To achieve this ambition, the company is leveraging multiple network partnerships — including Allo, TM and TIME — allowing Celcomdigi to reach more homes through shared infrastructure and open-access fibre networks.
