| Responsibilities | 1. Quality System Control Establish and maintain quality systems aligned with quality management practices. Ensure effective implementation of Control Plans, SPC, FAI/FAIR, PPAP, PFMEA, Traceability, Calibration. Ensure manufacturing documents are accurate, traceable, and audit-ready. 2. Shopfloor Quality Execution Lead QA/QC operations for incoming, in-process, and final inspection. Enforce line-stop authority when defects or safety risks occur. Apply GD&T control, measurement techniques, and process capability to prevent rework. 3. Root Cause & CAPA Leadership Drive structured investigation: 8D, DMAIC, 5Why, Ishikawa, Pareto. Implement effective CAPA and verify results with data, not statements. Improve scrap rate, rework rate, machining tolerance stability, and yield. 4. Engineering & Production Collaboration Work closely with Engineering to validate machining parameters, fixtures, tool selection, and new product introduction (NPI). Support Production in resolving measurement issues, tool wear, chatter, surface finish, and geometrical deviation. 5. Customer Quality & Audit Interface Lead customer complaint management and improvement actions. Present failure analysis, response plan, closure confirmation, and prevention strategy. Manage audits: customer, ISO, supplier, and internal. 6. Team Leadership Develop competency of inspectors, technicians, and quality engineers. Train team in GD&T, SPC, gauge handling, SOP discipline. |
