On 29 October 2025, Wistron MedTech proudly participated in the Empowering the Frontline program held at the Auditorium, Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (HoSHAS), Temerloh. Organized in conjunction with International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025, the event brought together nearly 100 participants, including healthcare professionals from HoSHAS and the Pahang Tengah and Barat clusters, government agencies, NGOs, and members of the PWD community.
The program was officiated by Dr. Mohamad Faqih bin Mohamad Puzi, Senior Deputy Director of Medical Services, and jointly organized with Persatuan Spinal Pantai Timur (PSPT) and the Rehabilitation Unit of Hospital Bera.
Key highlights included discussions on Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR), strategies for inclusive community support, and recognition of PWD role models who have successfully undergone rehabilitation and reintegrated into society. Alongside knowledge-sharing sessions, a health exhibition and interactive engagements with strategic partners such as JKM, PERKESO, NGOs, and community representatives enriched the program.
Wistron MedTech showcased the Keeogo lower limb exoskeleton, a robotic-assisted solution designed to enhance mobility and independence, underscoring our commitment to advancing accessible rehabilitation technologies.
This initiative marks another step toward building an inclusive ecosystem that empowers PWDs across Pahang and beyond.
