• If a buyer wants to claim tax deductions for a transaction, they must request an e-Invoice from the seller.

9 Key Differences:

• e-Invoice includes taxpayer identification details, such as IC number or taxpayer number, along with some personal information.
• Traditional invoices do not require these details.

9 When is e-Invoice NOT needed?

• If an expense is not for tax deduction purposes (e.g., daily living expenses), then requesting an e-Invoice is unnecessary.
