Bischem Technology Shines at MIHAS 2024

In September, Bischem Technology Sdn Bhd proudly participated in Malaysia’s premier Halal event, Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS).

 

This annual event connects businesses across various Halal sectors, including food and beverage (F&B), Halal ingredients, tourism, and finance. MIHAS is a hub for local and international companies to create business opportunities and share industry insights.

 

Highlighting Malt Ingredients and Baking Powder Solutions

At MIHAS 2023, Bischem Technology showcased our innovative malt ingredients and specialty baking powder solutions. With the rising costs of cocoa powder, we have introduced Muntons’ malt cocoa replacer, capable of substituting up to 25% of cocoa powder, thus cutting costs and boosting profits for bakery producers. Additionally, we have presented malt powder N1000 as an innovative coffee powder substitute, optimising the cost and rounding-off the overall taste profile of coffee products.

     

To align with health-conscious trends, we have showcased Kudos Blends' unique aluminium-free baking powder, which also enhances the cake shelf life without any added preservatives.

Our participation in MIHAS was met with an overwhelming response. The inquiries and engaging conversations that we had with customers throughout the event, had resulted in reinforcing our reputation as a reliable ingredients supplier. The featured ingredients effectively delivered new application and formulation ideas in tackling the current baking challenges.
