The WFADG team conducted an in-depth survey of the Musang King durian plantation and held the annual work meeting (Part II).

On July 18, 2024, the WFADG held its annual work meeting successfully at the WFADG (Malaysia) Liaison Office. Attendees included the Group’s Executive President Jia Li Na, Administrative Office Director Wang Xia, Head of the Legal Affairs Department Mao Han Zhang, Director of the Agricultural Science Industry Research Institute Zhang Ge Er, Director of the Wild Medicinal Fungi Research Institute Chen Kang Lin, as well as directors and heads of various provincial liaison offices, totaling over 20 participants. The meeting was chaired by the Group Chairman, XieKun.

Firstly, Chairman XieKun emphasized that the significance of this annual work meeting was to further clarify work strategies, define annual goals, strengthen international cooperation, enhance internal and external coordination, and accurately position the Group’s strategic goals in response to the current domestic and international overall situation.

He also shared his opinions and proposed solutions for controlling pests and diseases in fruit trees. Moving forward, the Group will use its independently developed multi-fungal life elements to enhance the immune system of fruit trees during their growth period, improving their resistance and defense against harmful organisms, and fundamentally addressing the issue of fruit tree pests and diseases in the durian plantations managed by the Malaysia Liaison Office.

He introduced the functions and value of medicinal fungi, explaining that the formulations of wild medicinal fungi can be used in the treatment of diseases such as tumors, liver cirrhosis, chronic complications of diabetes, drug-resistant tuberculosis, AIDS, immune disorders, skin diseases, kidney diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and lung diseases. Director Chen expressed hope that, with the support of the WFADG, wild medicinal fungi will be widely promoted both domestically and internationally for the benefit of humanity.

He gave a detailed report on the Group’s overall strategic vision, strategic layout, development direction, and key projects. The next steps will focus on accelerating the implementation of the Dandong strawberry and blueberry test field project, the "World Grain No. 1" planting base project, the Liaoning Leisure and Health Care Center construction project, and the China-North Korea border trade project, making full use of the functions of the Dandong Liaison Office.
