Perodua is offering a special 'Year End Special Rebate' promotion for the Ativa and Aruz models, available until December 31. The promotion features a RM1,500 cash rebate on the Ativa, a compact SUV with a turbocharged engine, and a RM4,000 discount for the Aruz, a high-riding seven-seater MPV.



Launched in March 2021, the Perodua Ativa remains the brand’s only model equipped with a turbocharged engine. As an A-segment SUV built on the DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform, it boasts a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 98 PS and 140 Nm of torque between 2,400 and 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a D-CVT (Dual-Mode Continuously Variable Transmission), which has become a staple for Perodua's vehicles. Pricing for the Ativa starts at RM62,500 for the entry-level X variant and goes up to RM73,400 for the fully-equipped AV variant with a contrasting black roof.

Meanwhile, the Perodua Aruz, introduced in early 2019, is a versatile seven-seater MPV with SUV-inspired styling and a ground clearance of 220 mm—higher than many standard SUVs. This makes it particularly appealing for those seeking an elevated driving position and greater assurance when navigating through minor floods. Compared to Perodua’s other seven-seater, the Alza, the Aruz stands out with its taller, more SUV-like stature, while the Alza offers a lower, more car-like profile, riding 60 mm closer to the ground.

Under the hood, the Aruz features a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces 102 PS and 133 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a four-speed torque converter automatic transmission. In late 2021, Perodua expanded the Aruz’s color options to include Passion Red, adding a striking touch to its lineup.
