How To Take Train From Singapore To Johor Bahru

Since 1^st July 2015, KTM’s Shuttle Tebrau was introduced to provide an alternative route to Johor Bahru which can to ease traffic jams. The train consists of four coaches and it can accommodate up to 320 passengers in total.

With a mere 5 minutes, this high-speed train will take you directly from Woodlands Train Checkpoint to JB Sentral.
 

TAKE TRAIN FROM SINGAPORE TO JOHOR BAHRU (JB)

Advantage of Using Singapore To JB Train:

• Fast way to get to JB Sentral.
• Cheap
• Comfortable

 Disadvantage of Using Singapore To JB Train:

• Limited tickets. Tickets are normally sold out days before.
• Need to wait for hours if you miss the train.

Train Price Range (Ticket price are different in SG and JB):

• Buy from Woodlands CIQ: SGD per way. Return tickets cost RM
• Buy from JB Sentral: RM5 per way. Return tickets cost SGD.

HOW TO GET TO WOODLANDS TRAIN CHECKPOINT FROM SINGAPORE

1. Head to Marsiling MRT Station – Go the bus stop in front of Marsiling MRT
2. Board bus 856and alight from the bus when the bus arrives at the bus stop at Woodlands Centre Road.

HOW TO BUY TRAIN (SHUTTLE TEBRAU) TICKETS

• In Singapore, go to Woodlands CIQ ticket counter.
• Ticket counter at JB Sentral is located opposite to KOMTAR JBCC and JB City Square.

Tickets are sold out quickly during weekends. So, we encourage you to book in advance. You can:
