BFF Honored to Join  Program Inspirasi Wanita: Secure. Lead. Transform

On August 8 2025, BFF Personal Care was truly honored to be invited to participate in the Program Inspirasi Wanita: Secure. Lead. Transform, organized by the Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat (KPWKM) and the Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita (JPW).

This important government initiative aims to empower women’s leadership potential, safeguard women’s safety and well-being, and inspire women to be drivers of transformation for the nation. The program was officiated by Deputy Minister YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad and brought together women leaders from government sectors, private enterprises, and civil society to unite efforts for women’s advancement.

Distinguished attendees also included JPW Director-General YBrs Puan Hanani Sapit, JPW Deputy Director-General Dr. Faridah Awang, and senior officers from various government departments and agencies, making the event even more meaningful.

In her speech, the Deputy Minister emphasized that the theme Secure. Lead. Transform is not just a slogan but a call to action:

• Secure – Creating a safe and protective environment for women

• Lead – Encouraging more women to take on leadership roles

• Transform – Driving positive social transformation with women as agents of change

She also shared several government initiatives, including:

• National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security (WPS)  Pelan Tindakan Nasional Wanita, Keamanan dan Keselamatan (WPS)

• Enforcement of the Sexual Harassment Act 2022 (Act 840)  Akta Antigangguan Seksual 2022 (Akta 840)

• Establishment of the Tribunal for Anti-Sexual Harassment (TAGS)  Tribunal Antigangguan Seksual (TAGS)

These measures reflect the government’s strong commitment to eliminating violence against women and building a solid support system for survivors.

As of July this year, Talian Kasih 15999 has received over 12,000 reports of violence against women, reminding us all of the urgent need for collective action to protect women from harm.
