Visit from Maybank Halal Team to Cheong Vege Sdn. Bhd.

On 28th October 2025, Cheong Vege Sdn. Bhd. had the great honour of welcoming the Maybank Halal Team to our factory. The visit was part of an important initiative to strengthen collaboration and understanding in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and halal compliance within our operations.During the visit, our team shared insights into the company’s journey, commitment to sustainability, and continuous improvement in quality management systems. 

At Cheong Vege, we are currently in the process of obtaining Halal certification — a key milestone in our mission to make sure that every product we deliver is not only fresh and nutritious, but also Halal and safe for all consumers. This reflects our strong belief that good food should be accessible and trusted by everyone, regardless of background or dietary preferences. 

Through this visit, both teams engaged in constructive discussions on halal awareness, process control, and product traceability, highlighting the shared goal of promoting integrity and transparency in the food industry.
