Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 1994 Awareness

Objectives:

• Understand the basic legal requirements and compliance under OSHA 1994
• Understand the responsibilities of employer, employee and safety committee under OSHA 1994
• Recognize work place safety hazards and develop take preventive measures
• Understanding to prevent/reduce accidents
• Understand key success factors of an effective Safety & Health Committee and safety as a working culture
• Identify potential hazards/risks at the workplace
• Conduct safety inspections/audits and recommend corrective actions
• Able to influence other personnel to regard Safety as a working culture

Target Groups:

• Engineers, Technician, Maintenance Personnel, Safety & Health Committee members, Safety and Health Officers and general employees

Entry Requirement (S):

Able to read and write in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
