3. Do induction cookers cook faster than normal electric and gas cookers?

The answer is YES. An induction cooker heats up faster than traditional electric cooktops and gas stoves. It offers instant control over the cooking energy similar to gas burners. Unlike other methods that use flames or red-hot elements, induction cooking directly heats the pot.

4. Will induction cooking incur high energy consumption?

The answer is NO. An induction cooker works by transferring electrical energy through induction from a coil of wire with an electric current. This current generates a changing magnetic field that produces heat, which in turn heats the pot through heat conduction. The cooking surface, made from glass-ceramic material that poorly conducts heat, minimizes heat loss from the pot's bottom. Moreover, it also lead to less energy wastage compared to open flame cooking and traditional electric cooktops. Additionally, the induction process doesn't heat the air around the pot, enhancing energy efficiency.

5. Are there health hazards from an induction unit's radiation?

Induction cooktops produce very low-frequency radiation, akin to that of microwave frequencies. This type of radiation  fades to negligible levels a few inches to about a foot away from the source. Under normal operating conditions, users are not close enough to the induction unit to be exposed to any radiation.
