K&T has one of the largest stainless steel pickling tanks in Klang, Malaysia. We can pickle any stainless steel part that transported to our facility.

The pickling process is used to remove a thin layer of metal from the surface of the stainless steel. This is different from descaling, which removes visibly thick oxide scale from the stainless steel.

Our pickling solutions for stainless steel are mixtures of nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, which are carefully applied to the stainless steel by our pickling specialists.
This is a delicate process that can cause corrosion on the stainless steel if not done properly. Thus, we hire only the top pickling specialists in Malaysia to oversee this process at our state-of-the-art facility to ensure top quality outcomes every time.

Electropolishing is an electrochemical process that is essentially the reverse of electroplating. The electropolishing process smooths and streamlines the microscopic surface of a metal object such as 304, 316, and the 400 series stainless steel. As a result, the surface of the metal is microscopically featureless, with not even the smallest blemish remaining.
