smart Malaysia, under Pro-Net, has officially opened bookings for the brand’s latest electric SUV — the all-new smart #5. First shown to Malaysians at the Malaysia Auto Show 2025, the model now joins the growing smart EV lineup as a bold yet versatile option for city drivers seeking both performance and practicality.



The smart #5 will be available in two variants: Premium and BRABUS. The Premium version features a 100kWh battery capable of delivering up to 590km (WLTP) range. Built on an 800V architecture, it supports 22kW AC and 400kW DC fast charging. This rear-wheel-drive variant accelerates from 0–100km/h in just 6.5 seconds.

For those craving more excitement, the BRABUS model adds dual-motor all-wheel drive, Launch Mode, and a BRABUS-tuned sound experience. It achieves 0–100km/h in 3.8 seconds and comes with 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z wheels, red brake callipers, and Dinamica microfibre seats, enhancing its sporty appeal.



Inside, the cabin is loaded with premium tech and materials. It features dual 13-inch OLED displays, a 25.6-inch augmented reality head-up display, and LEO, a ChatGPT-powered intelligent assistant. Comfort is elevated with Nappa leather seats, a panoramic glass roof, an integrated chiller, and a 20-speaker Sennheiser audio system with Dolby Atmos.



On the safety front, the smart #5 has earned a 5-star Euro NCAP rating. Standard features include seven airbags, Smart Pilot Assist with Highway Pilot and Stop & Go, and a 360° camera system. It also offers nine drive modes, including five off-road settings, supported by a chassis made of 82% high-strength steel for added rigidity.



Bookings for the smart #5 Premium and BRABUS variants are now open with a RM2,000 fee, available through the Hello smart app (iOS, Android, HarmonyOS) or the official smart Malaysia website. Pricing details will be announced closer to the model’s local launch.
