The 2025 Honda HR-V Facelift has been officially launched in Malaysia, bringing a refreshed look and upgraded features to one of the country’s most popular compact SUVs. The new HR-V is available in four variants: 1.5L S (RM115,900), 1.5L Turbo E (RM130,900), 1.5L Turbo V (RM137,900), and 1.5L e:HEV RS (RM143,900). While the S and E variants retain their previous price tags, the V and RS models see a RM2,000 price increase, justified by new enhancements in both design and technology.

The RS variant stands out with its exterior upgrades, featuring Matrix projector LED headlights with active cornering lamps, a more aggressive front grille, sleek LED taillights, and new 18-inch alloy wheels that elevate its road presence. Inside, the RS offers a redesigned centre console with added storage space beneath the air-conditioning controls. The 8-inch infotainment system has been upgraded to support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and now includes USB Type-C ports for added convenience.

Under the hood, powertrain options remain unchanged, with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (121 hp, 145 Nm), a 1.5L turbocharged engine (181 hp, 240 Nm), and a 1.5L e:HEV hybrid system (131 hp, 253 Nm). The hybrid variant now delivers improved responsiveness for a more refined driving experience.

On the safety front, the facelifted HR-V receives enhancements to the Honda Sensing suite, now featuring Adaptive Driving Beam and Active Cornering Light, improving visibility and safety during night driving.

Overall, the 2025 HR-V facelift offers a well-rounded upgrade with modern styling, improved tech, and advanced safety—cementing its position as a top contender in Malaysia’s compact SUV segment.
