The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is offering a 50% discount on traffic summonses in conjunction with the Johor MADANI Rakyat 2025 (PMR) programme, which will take place from May 23 to 25 (Friday to Sunday) at Toppen Shopping Centre. According to a Facebook post by the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU) under the Prime Minister’s Department, this discount is available throughout the three-day event.



The Road Transport Department (RTD) will also be offering several services and promotions during PMR 2025. These include a free motorcycle helmet replacement programme, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) and the Johor state government, and a special flat-rate compound payment of RM150 for Awas summonses issued from October 2018 until now. In addition, RTD will operate mobile service counters at the event, enabling visitors to renew Competent Driving Licences (CDL) and Probationary Driving Licences (PDL), vocational licences (PSV and GDL), private and commercial vehicle road taxes (LKM), and to check summonses.



The Home Ministry will also take part in the programme by deploying the National Registration Department’s Bas Mekar, which will allow the public to apply for identity cards for children aged 12, replace lost or damaged MyKads, and print MyKad chip data. Other activities include a “Jom Exchange al-Quran” initiative, where visitors can exchange damaged or uncertified Qurans, as well as meet-and-greet sessions with members of the Special Tactical Team and the Tiger Platoon.



Held under the theme “Belia MADANI, Yakin Boleh!”, the PMR 2025 event will feature a variety of engaging activities including government exhibitions, direct services from agencies, TVET showcases, a career carnival, MADANI sales, and more. The event is designed to serve as a strategic platform that brings together federal and state governments, KBS, various agencies, and government-linked companies (GLCs) to deliver services and information directly to the public. With over 25,000 visitors expected, this is a great opportunity for the public to access essential services in one place.
