The price of RON97 dropped from August 29 to September 4.

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced the fuel prices in Malaysia for the week of August 29 to September 4, 2024. During this period, Premium RON97 will decrease by 5 cents, bringing its price to MYR 3.42 per litre. Regular RON95 will continue at the government-set ceiling price of MYR 2.05 per litre, a rate established in February 2021.
Diesel will also see a reduction of 5 cents, with retail prices in Peninsular Malaysia set at MYR 3.18 per litre for Euro 5 B10/B20 and MYR 3.38 per litre for Euro 5 B7. In East Malaysia, diesel prices will remain at MYR 2.15 per litre for Euro 5 B10/B20 and MYR 2.35 per litre for Euro 5 B7. These prices will be in effect from 29 August until the next announcement from the Ministry on September 4, 2024.
