The Mazda 6 receives its most recent wave of improvements in Malaysia, and this time it comes as a 20th Anniversary Edition in three variations spanning two body styles: the 2.0L Sedan costs RM180,359, the 2.5L Touring (station wagon) costs RM230,848, and the 2.5L 20th Anniversary Edition costs RM240,848. All costs are per person, per day, on the road in Peninsular Malaysia, except insurance.
The Skyactiv-G 2.0 liter and 2.5 liter naturally aspirated inline-four cylinder petrol engines continue to represent the Mazda 6 range's powertrain, with the 2.0 liter unit delivering 162 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 213 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. All models come with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters positioned on the steering wheel. The 2.5 liter engine in the Touring (station wagon) and 20th Anniversary Edition produces 192 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 258 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

The 2.0L sedan's wheels and tires measure 225/55R17 for the 2.0L sedan and 225/45R19 for the 2.5L sedan and station wagon. All models come with an 185/55R16 space-saving spare tire mounted on a steel wheel.
The 2023 Mazda 6 receives automatic LED headlights with LED DRLs, LED taillights, and fog lamps. It also receives keyless entry, power-folding and adjustable exterior mirrors, and four parking sensors, two for the front and two for the back. A motorized sunroof and a color HUD projection are added inside the 2.5L models. The inside lighting in the 20th Anniversary Edition sedan is LED, while it is bulb-based in the other two vehicles.
The 20th Anniversary Edition, as its name implies, honors the 20th anniversary of the Mazda 6 moniker, which made its debut in 2002, and adds distinctive styling to both the vehicle's exterior and interior. This includes 20th Anniversary badging on the front fender, Bright Metallic Alloy 19-inch alloy wheels, and a front grille finished in gunmetal.

A self-dimming frameless rearview mirror, a seven-inch multi-info driver's instrument display (4.6-inch TFT LCD for other models), and a rear window sunshade are also featured. The front seats are also ventilated.
Wireless device charging and the i-Activsense ADAS suite, which includes front and rear smart brake support (AEB) and radar-guided cruise control with stop and go and cruise and traffic support, are added to the list of standard features for the 2023 Mazda 6 range in Malaysia.

Except for the BT-50 pick-up truck, Mazda cars are offered in Malaysia with a five-year manufacturer's warranty and a five-year maintenance package that includes labor expenses, parts costs, and lubricants costs. The free maintenance package and the manufacturer's guarantee are both valid for five years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
