Naturally, the performance coupe SUV is outfitted with AMG-specific features. This comprises an AMG-specific radiator grille as well as a jet wing-like AMG front apron with massive air inlets, vertical fins, and extra flics. The all-new Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe comes with 19-, 20-, or 21-inch wheels, depending on the version and option.
The GLC 63 S E Performance Coupe, like the Mercedes-AMG GLC SUV, is available with the unique Edition 1 for one year after its market debut. This special edition is available in two exterior colors: graphite grey magno and high-tech silver magno.

It also has matt black 21-inch AMG forged wheels and yellow-painted AMG brake callipers. The inside is black and yellow, including black Nappa leather upholstery with yellow stitching and "Edition 1" emblems on the front headrests.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe is powered by a 48V mild hybrid (MHEV) powertrain. The system is powered by the M139l 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine with an electronic exhaust gas turbocharger, which was designed in accordance with the carmaker's "One Man, One Engine" philosophy.

Mercedes claims that this system is a direct descendant of the technology that has been utilized successfully by the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team in premier class motorsport for many years. The GLC 43 produces 421 horsepower and 500 Nm when paired with the AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission with a wet starting clutch.
The belt-driven starter generator (RSG) can also offer a 14 hp and 150 Nm short-term boost. The century sprint can be completed in 4.8 seconds thanks to the brand's 4MATIC all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which can be configured to give rear-biased torque distribution (39% front, 61% rear). It has an electronically regulated top speed of 250 km/h.

The Mercedes-AMG 63 S E Performance Coupe, on the other hand, is powered by a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system with the same M139l engine but a larger turbocharger. As a result, the engine can generate 476 horsepower at 6,725 rpm, making it the world's most powerful series-produced 4-cylinder engine.
Its system output is rated at 680 horsepower when paired with the same AMG Speedshift MCT 9G transmission, an electric motor, and a 6.1 kWh battery, and its maximum system torque is set at a whopping 1,020 Nm. The 4MATIC+ AWD system sends power to all four wheels, allowing the performance coupe SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach an electronically regulated top speed of 275 km/h.

The electric motor also enables the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S E Performance Coupe to have a 12-kilometer all-electric range. The on-board 3.7 kW AC charger can be used to charge the 6.1 kWh battery.
Other standard features of the Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe include rear-axle steering and the AMG Ride Control suspension with variable damping.
Inside, the new Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe features AMG seats coated in Artico man-made leather and Microcut AMG microfiber. The MBUX infotainment system also includes AMG-specific displays and features. This includes the instrument cluster's individual displays as well as the portrait-oriented central display.

The GLC 43 features a flat-bottomed AMG Performance steering wheel covered in Nappa leather, while the GLC 63 S gets an extra Microcut microfiber combination. The new Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe, like other recent AMG cars, has spherical AMG steering wheel buttons. This feature allows drivers to customize the driving dynamics functions of the performance coupe SUV in conjunction with the AMG Dynamic Select driving program.
Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe boasts AMG sports pedals, AMG floor mats, and illuminated door sills with AMG lettering to complete its athletic appearance.
