BUDI MADANI is a platform by the MADANI Government to ensure that subsidy allocations are targeted towards deserving groups. The 2024 budget, as announced, is committed to realigning fuel subsidies to curb smuggling activities and misuse of public subsidies.
To ensure the welfare of the majority of the population is maintained, BUDI MADANI is introduced as a platform to realign subsidies only to those in need. Certain land freight transport vehicles will continue to receive subsidies to control commodity prices, while selected individuals will be provided with cash assistance to mitigate the rising cost of living.
There are three categories to apply for BUDI MADANI.
MySubsidi Diesel
- The Subsidized Diesel Control System (SKDS) is a specialized platform for public vehicles and selected freight transport to continue receiving diesel subsidies through a "fleet card."
BUDI Agri-Komoditi
- Cash subsidy assistance is provided to small-scale farmers, breeders, and planters registered with the relevant ministries to cope with the increased cost of diesel for agricultural machinery.
BUDI Individu
- Cash subsidy assistance is provided to individual owners of diesel vehicles who meet specific eligibility criteria. This assistance helps offset the increased cost of daily transportation for individuals using diesel vehicles.
