Smart Malaysia today revealed the Hello Smart mobile app for customers and potential owners, offering useful features meant to integrate directly into their daily routines and assist elevate the whole ownership experience, ahead of the approaching market introduction of the Smart #1 SUV.


The app includes many of the standard connected features you'd expect from a vehicle's mobile app, such as real-time access to their Smart vehicles (battery and charging status information, remote air-conditioning and windows control), as well as a Discover page where users can find the latest news, events, and access the community page for all Smart #1 owners.



The Hello Smart app's extended functions, highlighted by the unique integrated EV charger map, distinguish it from the competition. Smart Malaysia was able to integrate all of the charging stations from various providers in Malaysia into a single map, where customers can directly access real-time charger information, including availability status, and even initiate the charging process and make payments without jumping through multiple services, by collaborating with various EV charging ecosystem stakeholders.

According to Smart, the function presently has approximately 70% of all public charging ports connected, with more being added to the app.

The Hello Smart app also contains a function that allows potential customers to personalize their dream automobiles, estimate monthly payments, and even apply for loans directly through the app, considerably simplifying the EV ownership experience by removing several tedious procedures.




Meanwhile, an e-Mall feature allows users to purchase authentic Smart goods and accessories, as well as the One-Stop Service Home Charging Solution, which simplifies the purchase, installation, and appointment scheduling of SmartCharge home chargers. Customers can earn loyalty points by inviting friends to buy a Smart vehicle, which can subsequently be used to make purchases at the e-Mall.

The Hello Smart app can now be downloaded via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei App Gallery. A feature update is already planned for Q4 2023, which will improve use and convenience even further.
