The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Karachi on October 6 that caused multiple casualties, including two Chinese people.
A convoy carrying the Chinese staff of the Port Qasim Electric Power Company was attacked near Karachi's Jinnah International Airport at around 11 p.m., the embassy said in a statement.
"The Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in Pakistan strongly condemn this terrorist attack, express deep condolences to the innocent victims of both countries and sincere sympathies to the injured and families, and are making every effort to handle the aftermath together with the Pakistani side," the embassy said.
