(Ipoh, 17th) – Besides its famous aromatic white coffee, Ipoh, also known as a "noodle paradise," has recently been ranked second on the list of Asia’s most overlooked food cities!

Ipoh has recently secured the second spot on the list of Asia’s most overlooked food cities.

According to the well-known local online media platform World of Buzz, which cited the latest ranking from the renowned magazine Tatler, Ipoh is often overshadowed by Penang and Kuala Lumpur. However, for food lovers who appreciate slow-cooked delicacies and nostalgic dining atmospheres, Ipoh is a dream destination.

"Ipoh is best known for its Ipoh White Coffee," the article states. "This coffee, made from beans roasted with palm oil margarine, produces a smooth, rich, and aromatic brew with a distinctive sweetness and creamy texture."

When it comes to food, Ipoh is truly a paradise for noodle lovers. One of its most representative dishes, Chicken Kway Teow Soup, is prepared using a flavorful broth made from chicken and prawn stock, served with silky smooth rice noodles that are simply irresistible.

"Another must-try dish is Salt-Baked Chicken, where the chicken is marinated with Chinese herbs and wrapped in rock salt before being roasted. The result is tender, juicy, and flavorful meat. As for desserts, you can’t miss the Tau Fu Fah (Tofu Pudding)—a silky, sweet soybean dessert that is beloved by locals."
