Contents (per 5 /ml)

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 15 /mg – suppresses dry cough centrally
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 /mg – reduces nasal congestion by vasoconstriction
• Promethazine hydrochloride 3.125 /mg – antihistamine with sedative effect

Indications

• Designed for relief of dry, non productive coughs associated with upper respiratory tract infections or the common cold
• Alleviates symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion

Instructions
Dosage Guidelines

• Adults and children ≥ /12 years: 10 /ml every 6 hours
• Children 6–12 years: 5 /ml every 6 hours
• Children 2–5 years: 2.5 /ml every 6 hours
• Not for children under 2 years due to risk of respiratory depression caused by promethazine
   

Administration Advice

• Shake the bottle well before each dose

• Use the provided measuring spoon or syringe for accurate dosing

• Take the syrup orally, undiluted
   

Safety & Precautions

• May cause drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, dizziness—avoid driving or operating machinery until effects are known

• Avoid alcohol; it may enhance central nervous system suppression

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice

• Use cautiously in patients with glaucoma, hypertension, prostate enlargement, thyroid disorders, epilepsy, or heart disease

• Not intended for productive coughs with phlegm—may worsen mucus retention
   

Duration of Use & Follow-up

• If symptoms persist beyond 7 days, worsen, or are accompanied by high fever or rash, discontinue use and consult a physician

• Do not exceed the recommended dosage or frequency—do not double doses
