Responsibilities | Conduct market research using tools like MyBina, MIDA, and DOE (EIA) to identify investment opportunities and industry trends. Perform competitor SWOT analyses and propose actionable strategies to enhance MIE¡¯s market positioning. Monitor regional developments (e.g., Johor, East Coast, Pengerang) to anticipate client needs and project pipelines. Prospect and engage new clients in target sectors: Manufacturing, O&G, Petrochemicals, Power Plants, and Port Facilities. Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Petronas, state development authorities, and subcontractors. Coordinate client visits, tender follow-ups, and feedback sessions to improve win rates. Develop and maintain databases of industry players, competitors, and projects using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Project, Logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in preparing RFQ responses, proposals, and post-tender reports. Central/Nationwide: Prioritize EPCC and SEB-related projects; build partnerships with manufacturing and oleo-chemical industries. East Coast/Johor/Pengerang: Track upcoming projects (e.g., plant maintenance, new developments) and establish local networks. Cross-Regional: Align strategies with federal and state initiatives to capitalize on infrastructure investments. |

Requirements | Education: Bachelor¡¯s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 3-4 years in B2B sales/marketing, preferably in EPCC, energy, or industrial sectors. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and data analytics tools. Knowledge of SAP or Power BI is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities; detail-oriented with strategic thinking. Languages: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency enhances client engagement. |
