OUR STORY --- Hai Kee Hung Sdn. Bhd. (HKHSB)

Ever since its establishment in 1994, Hai Kee Hung Sdn. Bhd. (HKHSB) has been on a mission to distribute quality chilled and frozen seafood including fish, prawn or shrimp, cuttlefish, crab, mussel, scallop, lobster and many more, all of which are live cultures sourced from uncontaminated waters around Sabah and Indonesia. 

Founded by Mr Kang Chew See who possessed more than 40 years of experience under his belt in the seafood business, he was joined by Mr Khor Ah Bah, another veteran of the seafood scene, within the same year and has been managing the wholesales division since then.

Subsidiary 

Each subsidiary functions interdependently from the processing of raw materials and all the way up to the distribution of frozen and chilled products to clients, which consists of fishmongers, seafood distributors, retailers, caterers, restaurants, hoteliers, resorts and overseas importers.

What We Do

Serving as a plant and farm to the entire value chain, Haiky Aquaculture Sdn Bhd is able to supply 80 tonnes of soft shell crab per year and 1,500 tonnes of Vannamei shrimps per year.

These live harvested raw materials are then distributed by Haiky Borneo Sdn Bhd and Haiky Seafood Industries Sdn Bhd to the local market for wholesales and retails, and exported to countries such as Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan respectively. Upon receiving the chilled seafood products, Hai Kee Hung Fisheries Sdn Bhd will then proceed to market them at the Selayang wholesale market, or locally term as Pasar Borong.

Headquarters

Headquarters Hai Kee Hung Sdn Bhd is responsible for supplying quality frozen seafood to B2B restaurants and food service establishments. Furthermore, Pure Ocean Resources Sdn Bhd was integrated into the chain which oversees the manufacturing process of seafood brands such as Nikudo, Zana, and Yoki, ensuring that their quality meets stringent standards. Finally, Haiky Marketing Sdn Bhd serves as an open frozen seafood retail outlet with branch locations in Kepong, Klang, Kota Kinabalu, Petaling Jaya, Selayang, and Sri Petaling.

Marketing 

Being committed to prawn and soft shell crab farming, live crab export, seafood processing and value added operations, wholesaling, supply, import, export, distribution and retail, HKHSB is a one stop frozen seafood in Malaysia working toward expanding its marketing locally and internationally.

Commercial

To meet B2C market demands, HMSB has since accelerated their digital push. The company brings in their frozen seafood online delivery either via official website online.nikudo.com.my or Shopee for customers to easily purchase high quality frozen seafood at the convenience of their own space and time, and have the products delivered to their doorstep in utmost comfort.
