Long vernier caliper are a type of vernier calipers that are solid and more stable in design and manufacturing. They are mainly used in fields such as heavy-duty machining and the manufacturing of large metal structures, and can withstand relatively large external forces and harsh working environments.
The long vernier calipers are relatively heavy as a whole, (we also have simple type) which makes them more stable during the operation process. The jaws of the calipers usually undergo special quenching and heat-treatments to improve their hardness and wear resistance.
