Gilgen Door Systems AG is a manufacturer of drive and complete systems for doors and gates. It is headquartered in Schwarzenburg, Switzerland. The company was founded in 1961 by Jakob Gilgen Senior, he started producing the first automatic drive systems for doors from his parents’ garage in Switzerland. He installed them for his customers, one by one. Today, the company is represented by more than 1,100 employees around the world. Gilgen Door Systems has sales and service partners in the key markets of Europe, Asia and other countries. It operates its own subsidiaries and service centres in Germany, France, Italy and Austria.

Internationally approved drive systems, strictly implemented quality system to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards and market-oriented innovations make Gilgen Door Systems one of the leading manufacturers of drive systems and comprehensive solutions.
