MTC Signs Biogas Renewable Energy Development Deal - MTC Engineering Sdn Bhd
MTC Signs Biogas Renewable Energy Development Deal
20-Oct-2019
10th October 2019, Roslan.
MTC has embarked into being a biogas producer and turnkey EPCI after the announcement of Gas Purchase Agreement by Gas Malaysia Berhad. On Oct 8, Gas Malaysia’s wholly owned subsidiary — Gas Malaysia Virtual Pipeline Sdn Bhd (GMVP) signed a gas purchase agreement with Kulim Green Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd (KGEV)— a joint-venture company between Kulim (M) Bhd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Johor Corp), O’Rec Ind Sdn Bhd and MTC Engineering Sdn Bhd.
The deal will commemorate MTC together with joint venture partners under KGEV to develop the biggest plant for biomethane direct injection to the national grid Gas Malaysia’s Natural Gas distribution System (NGDS).
“This is synergized with MTC progressive plan to utilize its strengths moving another step towards being energy producer from small fields, offshore late life assets, orphaned fields and waste-to-energy potentials” stated Ir. Dr. Norshah, the MTC and KGEV director.
