Basic Cooking Instructions:

2 Cups of 13 Bean Soup Mix

2½ quarts water

Ham Hock
-
1 cup chopped onion

1-15 oz can Tomato Sauce or 1 qt Tomatoes

1½ tsp to 1 Tbsp Chili Powder

2 tsp Garlic Powder or 2 cloves of Garlic, minced
Rinse 2 cups of 13 Bean Soup Mix, then soak overnight. In the morning drain, rinse and bring 2½ quarts water to boil wit the beans and ham hock. Reduce heat and simmer 3 to 3½ hours. Add onion, tomato sauce or tomatoes and seasoning. Simmer 30 minutes. Makes 8-10 servings.
