DESCRIPTION
FPS Series Class 2 power transformers energy-limiting wall plug line frequency magnetic transformer with output voltage limited to meet the requirements for connection to Class 2 circuits as defined in the electrical code plugs into any North American standard duplex receptacle CSA (NRTL/C) certified to C22.2 No. 223-M91 and UL 1310. Rugged, high-impact, flame retardant thermoplastic enclosure with secondary screw terminals hidden and protected from accidental shorting. Also available with flexible secondary line cord and jacks for special applications. The fail-safe protection designed into the transformer allows the use of lightweight, unprotected “bell” wiring in applications such as door chimes, buzzers, intercoms, security devices, thermostats, central vacuum systems, low voltage lighting control, remote control, etc.
