What To Do If The Standard Solo Labelling Machine Stops During Operation.

05-Sep-2025

When the solo labelling machine stops during operations, the entire production flow can be disrupted. This downtime not only delays labelling tasks but also impacts overall productivity, delivery schedules, and product quality. A single machine breakdown can create a chain reaction of setbacks, leading to increased costs and wasted time.

1. Stop All Operations Immediately
Turn off the machine to avoid further damage or accidents. Forcing it to run can worsen the issue or damage internal components.

2. Check For Obvious Issues
Inspect the machine for jammed labels, adhesive residue, or any loose/misaligned parts. Ensure the power cable is connected and that there is no power interruption.

3. Inspect Sensors And Rollers
Sometimes sensors are blocked by dust or labels, or rollers are not properly aligned. Clean and realign if necessary.

4. Follow Troubleshooting In The User Manual
Every machine has specific error codes or instructions. The manual will guide you through quick fixes before contacting support.

5. Restart The Machine (If Safe)
Once minor issues are resolved (e.g. label jam cleared), restart the machine and observe if it runs normally.

6. If The Problem Persists – Contact After-Sales Support
Provide details to the supplier or technical support, such as the machine model, problem description, and any error codes. Photos or videos will help them diagnose the issue faster.

7. Use Alternative Solutions While Waiting
If production cannot stop, consider manual labelling or outsourcing temporary labelling services until the machine is fixed.

Important Note:
Do not attempt to open or repair the machine’s internal parts unless you are trained. This may void the warranty and create further damage.
