Software Project

Learning Objectives

• To develop a demo project based on what they have learnt in the modules and demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
• To apply this knowledge and skills in developing software applications as a project to be implemented, use the proper process of managing a software project to plan, design, code, and deploy the software application using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology with project documentation.
• The candidate will meet with the appointed project advisor regularly to review, give feedback and report on the project's progress.

Thesis

• To research and learn about new technology in software engineering, and write a thesis paper based on the research conducted, including the data collected, analysis and design, critical evaluation and recommendations. 
• The findings of this research will demonstrate the candidate's knowledge and skills learned, as well as serve as a topic/ subject for further study
• The paper will be reviewed by an advisor to provide feedback and guidance.
• This paper reflects the candidate's competency in the subject matter of software engineering, and supports the candidate in job seeking and job placement.
