Proof Load And Destructive Testing

Wah Yong (M) Sdn Bhd has the in-house facilities to provide a range of Proof Load and Destruction Testing Services since 2015. Our facilities include 10 tons hoisting structure and a 300 tons horizontal test bed (test bench) which manufactured by WIROP Industrial Company Limited.

 

Initial test bench calibration was by SGS. In 2018 July, we just completed our test bench calibration with DNV GL. 

 

Prior to 2015, we already had a 10 tons hoisting structure for vertical load and hoist testing. The 10 tons hoisting structure is used extensively to test chain blocks, shackles, bridle legged sling and cargo net. 

 

Whereby, the 300 tons horizontal test bed is used extensively to test large fiber and wire rope mooring cables and mooring cable fittings as well as subsea and umbilical cables for offshore applications.

 

We offer a comprehensive inspection service covering all lifting and rigging equipment. Visual inspections such as wire rope slings, chain slings, webbing and round slings and spreader bars can be performed as required to meet your requirements.
