The 28th Malaysia International Packaging & Labelling (M’SIA-PACK 2017), Food Processing Machinery & Equipment Exhibition (M’SIA- FOODPRO 2017) is proudly presented by ES Event Management Sdn Bhd to industry players for the 28th time. WHY MALAYSIA
Based on the findings by Department of Statistics, Malaysia has more than 2,000 established company involved in the food processing industry and most of them are Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) where it accounts for 10% of the total manufacturing output and the number is still increasing yearly. The demand for machinery and equipment for the F&B industry is significantly growing and adapting higher standard equipment and quality to meet the requirement of large export of processed food as well as with the rise of consumer awareness regarding food quality, health trend, growing demand of convenient food etc. Furthermore, Malaysia is the market leader of halal food industry in the South East Asian region as a Muslim country, incentives are given to the segments of halal food packaging & processing industry in order to become one of the pioneers in this industry with the estimate potential value range between USD 600 billion and USD 2.1 trillion by 2020.
