Product Overview

Nippon Paint Spot-less Plus Matt is a premium water-based interior paint that offers much more than just a beautiful finish. Engineered with Silver Ion Technology, it is clinically proven to deactivate 99.9% of harmful viruses and bacteria (including SARS-CoV-2, MRSA, and E. coli) on painted surfaces.

This paint is perfect for households with children and pets, featuring Anti-Stain Technology that repels common liquid stains like coffee, ink, and sauces, making walls incredibly easy to clean. Additionally, its integrated AirGuard Technology actively absorbs and neutralizes formaldehyde from the air, continuously purifying your indoor environment. Technical Data

• Drying Time (Touch Dry): 30 minutes (dependent on temperature and humidity).

• Drying Time (Hard Dry): 1 hour (dependent on temperature and humidity).

• Recoating Time: Minimum 2 hours.

• Theoretical Coverage: 10 – 12 m² per litre per coat.

• Dry Film Thickness: Approximately 30 μm per coat.

• Volume Solid: ~36%.

• Shelf Life: Up to 36 months in a tightly sealed container.

Application Instructions

• Application Method: Brush, Roller, or Spray.

• Thinning: Dilute with a maximum of 5% water if necessary (undiluted is preferred for best stain resistance).

• Cleaning: Clean all equipment with water immediately after use.

Recommended Coating System

1. Sealer/Primer (1 Coat): 8200 Premium Interior Sealer (for best results) or 5200 Interior Sealer.

   • Note: Use Hi-Bond Wall Sealer for powdery or skim-coated surfaces.

2. Topcoat (2 Coats): Nippon Paint Spot-less Plus Matt.

Surface Preparation

• Condition: Surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or flaky material.

• Moisture/Alkalinity: Ensure wall moisture content is below 16% and alkalinity is below pH 9.

• Repair: For cracks or holes, use a suitable filler like Nippon Paint EasySKIM before priming.
